SOLD - Big Soarer Brakes Sun, 02 June 2002 09:48 Go to next message
My Shed is running out of room, might as well offer some gear I no longer need to fellow Toymods members.

Selling a pair of :-

Soarer Front 298mm, 2 Spot Callipers, Rotors, Pads and Dust Covers

This is off a genuine Manual 1J/TT Soarer and not the normal small rotors/callipers found on most Soarers - bolt on replacement for Auto 1J/TT or V8 and possibly other Toyotas sharing the same wheel hubs. 32mm left on the Rotors (33 new, 30min) and Pads are 8 weeks old.

SOLD

Dave
Forgive my ignorance, I know how to measure wheel offsets, but not sure about brake rotors.

How do I mesaure the offset on a rotor? Is it hub mounting face to centre of the rotor friction faces?
Cheers

I've got pics but nowhere to host ATM.
Do you want them by e-mail or know where I can post on FTP for everyone else to see as well?
They came straight off my wheel hubs, so no calliper mounts were applicable in my case. You can fab yourswlf if you want or buy some MKIII Supra calliper mounts.

Manny, I think all turbo Soarers (JZZ30) came with those discs/calipers, cos I parked next to a V8 Soarer, and my (auto) Soarer brakes were much larger and thicker in comparison.

Simon
Only TT Autos with 16 inch factory wheels, TT Manuals, and V8 Active Soarers came with them according to the EPC.

They're now sold anyway.
Cheers
