Is a dash and interior transplant from a later model celica into a ST162 even remotely possible?
Idea's anyone?
What sort of work would be needed to be done? Could this, with enough hard work, be achieved, or once again am i living in a dream world?

I wouldn't say its a dream... dash transplants are possible but the cost involved in modifying it would definately make this not an option unless you are building a no expenses spared trailer pony.

Probably not what i wanted to hear, but i think richard is most probably right.
I saw someone putting an ae101 dash into an ae86, seemingly without a great deal of effort.

That was actually an AE92 dash. I'd say it's mor feasible than stupid, providing you also use the donor dash wiring loom also.

You might get away with putting the newer gauges into the old cluster with some cutting and shutting. I think the later models use slightly smaller gauges tho... Keep in mind that the 200 and possibly 180 series celicas used an electronic speedo. What evil plot have you got cooking ey?
