Gen2 3SGTE Long motor Mon, 06 June 2005 03:21 Go to next message
Hi all,

I bought this only a short while ago from Importbitz for using as a engine to measure up in the bay of a future project car. It is now surplus to my needs.

Long motor so it has : Sump, block, head and Cam cover. Complete internally of course.

Looks in good condition with no leaks around the rear seal at all. I've taken off the sump and all looks OK around the crankcase too.

I paid $550 for it.

I'm asking $450.

Hmmm... no interest? Might be hanging onto it for a while then.

I'd make you an offer, but I think the shipping down to Melbourne would make it too expensive as a donor for a rebuild.

Was this motor known to be running OK before it was removed?

Yeah I think shipping down to Melb on a pallet would be around $100 or so.

Oh and I don't know the history of the motor. When I bought it from Importbiz, John didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with it.... and having pulled off the sump and also turned the engine over by hand, I can't see anything that would prevent it from being in good nick either.

seeing as people seem keen on freight options... I can freight the engine anywhere in Australia, on a mid-size pallet and fully wrapped/sealed in weatherproof plastic.
