first of all SEARCH with "RCAs" as the keyword, cos this has been covered a million times, u will find a few breakdowns of what RCAs are designed for.
ever driven a lowered RWD car such as corolla, celica, corona, datsun etc.. and wondered why the steering feels so fucked up?
its cos every mm u lower the front affects the front Roll Centre, and angle of lower control arms.. which messes with the steering arms' standard positioning and generally makes ur car ride a lot firmer cos the shocks are already pre-compressed a little.(i think)
If u want to try to correct the angle/roll centre and steering inaccuracy u can fit these spacers(Roll Centre Adjusters) to the bottom of the strut, effectively putting the angle of control arm back in its original(or closer to..) position, without raising the cars ride height again.
general rule of thumb ive learned-
(macpherson strut front end)
lower ur ride height with lower springs X mm, simply fit RCAs X mm thick each side to offset this.
Good lkuck with the sale, if theyre still around in a couple of weeks i mite take em.
These should fit all RA23/8's also.
