ah yes
the common nsw solution... "we've got a problem here"
"no worries just throw more laws and restrictions towards the problem, that'll fix it"

Mate did you actually click the link?
Current P platers are unaffected unless they lose their license, in which case they will have to follow the new rules also.
I really like having the passenger restriction if you lose your license.

Well sucks for me, on my L's and halfway through building a tough NA 18rg for my ra28.
I wonder how far they are going to push the "no performance modifications" law. Eg i get 4 demerit points and a fine of $385 for having a set of extractors on my car.
How they are going to police the internal performance mods of engines, port jobs, cams etc etc???
I desperatly hope that they decide to just limit it to only using engines that were available in that model of car and only NA.

it makes me wonder why NSW didnt just take after VIC with power restriction laws. . .
with these new NSW laws, you could drive a 180KW falcon twin cam 6, but you cant drive nissan micra super turbo with all of what, 100KW????
makes no sense to me.
at least in vic there is a certain amount of uniformity with regard to power to weight.. . . . .
