hey i was wondering if anyone knew how to find the first tooth and line the crank angle sensor up properly to get the timing right
any help would be heaps good

just turn one tooth then start
if it runs ok its right
if not turn one more tooth hehe

haha yeah thats the way i did it. best to mark it up before you take it out, but you learn the hard way.

thanks guys i done that just before i got your replys and yeah i got it second go Very Happy
car starts and idle at about 1000rpm but when it hits 50 degrees it wont idle at all it just drops right off and engine dies!!!
any ideas ???

might have to move to melbourne

never gets hot there so car wont hit 50 degrees heheheeh

couldbe idle motor blocked


what car is the gze in
might be wired wrong
might be vacuum or idle hoses wrong

haha maybe so!

its actually gte and its in a ke30
pretty sure that everything is wired right and vacuums right
but can never be positive
could it just be the ecu??? its running microtech ltx-8

somethin m,ust happen at 50 degrees

either the tune is wrong

maybe the cold start drops off at 50 so u might have to crack throttle open bit more to get more air in at idle

do u haveidle screw try adjusting it when warm
