jsut something that i was wondering coz i have to get a new thermo fan, is it better to have two 10inch thermo fans that cover the hole radiator or one 12inch that covers a little over half of it?
help me plz

i am going to use 2 davis craig thermo fans to cool my i/c and i have the same dilema. I think i will go with the 2 X 10" fans as they should cover more area together i thinks....
just my opinion

yer i was thinknig that 2 would be better becuase it covers more surface area, thank you

you would get more current draw probably with 2 fans and 2 10" fans will cost more than 1 12" fan

simply put id say 2 would be better, but whether you need 2 or only 1 is the real question. if u dont really need 2 and the one 12" you had did the job then one would be fine again.
maybe you would just like 2, future plans maybe?

a 16" thermo will flow heaps more air than 2x10's
if it will fit

Radiator coverage is more important than overall flow, so unless you have good shrouding which covers the whole radiator I'd go with the two smaller fans.

16inch LMAO i can only just fit a 12inch on, hisis a ae86 btw with 4agte in it, makes bout 250hp atw. but it gets hot and i jsut got new radiator and thought go fuck off the chitty old 12inch that plays up sometiems and get a new one or two new fans
