hilux conversions, anyone done one or got some good advice?

need to replace the crusty 'why' series engine in the 85 lux
anyone got ideas or done one and has engine mount designs perhaps  ? thinking originally of a 2UZ but that fell through, thinking 1G 1J 7M something along those lines.

About to transplant a 1ggte into my hilux ute (1991 model)just renewing parts and a few mods as it will be hard to get to most of the gear when it gos in.Hopfully first thing in the new year.

that should be nice, if you need a hand with anything i dont mind spending some hours on it with you, did you measure up the engine bay to see if it fits?

stick a blown BB 502 chev in the bastard 
tricked up Powerglide 6000 rpm converter,
1000/05/Z20's on it,

yer measured it up about 2"or 50 mill to long but thats not to much of a prob will over come that.And thanks for the offer to help but i will be ok.
