Hello all,
I'm currently in the middle of gathering info for an assessment i have due for my automotive tafe class. I'm trying to find as much information as I can about the ae102 Corolla automatic transmission, the a245e. If somebody can direct me to information ,whether it be books in a library or on web pages. The main areas I need to cover are its torque converter (normal operation and lockup modes), mechanical system (type of gear train etc.), hydraulic system (pump type, governors and solenoids etc.) and also the servicing procedure. If you know of somewhere this information could be sourced, it would be MUCHLY appreciated.
I have run searches in google, yahoo and in this section but still need more info. I also think that it would be useful to have this resource in the Toymods archive as this assessment, along with others, are part of the new syllabus for light vehicle apprentices attending NSW Tafe.
For all you apprentice mechanics out there, I hope you find this thread useful when you reach your 3rd of Tafe.
