Yea i was only gettin 8 - 10 psi.. so i thought it helped mine.. the standard one had trouble holding boost.. now it goes straight to 10 or 12 and holds.. lovely!
And yes it is a hard task to do .. but i spose it was worth it.. Its just that to get to the bolts of the abv its a mission.. but once u got it off..
U have to bung the return up that goes back to the s/c from the abv..
Then make a new bracket so the BOV can bolt to it..
Then put some pipe on that so the BOV can go onto the bracket..
And then put some vaccum line to the BOV..
Its time consuming thats all.
PS Yea i dont think it will make the noise..

dont you people understand.....
the s/c is after the throttle body, therefore it is in a constant VACUM....
so a BOV is a total waste of time........as soon as you take your foot off the pedal, there is a vacum after the throttle butterfly, so how do you expect it to vent out air ppshhhhhhhhh, i dont think so
the only reason you are now probably getting a bit more boost, is that you have removed the ABV, so it must have been bleeding a bit of boost...

Yea Buddy i was just lettin everyone know that if you r bleeding off a little boost that if u change the abv.. to an aftermarket 9 times out of 10 the aftermarket will hold more.. OK!

i was a bit annoyed as i did mention in the other thread when you were asking about the pulley and not enough boost, that a BOV would not work.......
oh, well you found out anyway i spose......
