today at the winternationals, Peter kiprios ran a 10.16 at 135mph in his little yellow rolla, am looking to get more specs tomorrow, and pics

couldnt find the bastard to get the specs,
unfortunately he lost in round 1 with a .306 redlight and he also went over the finish line last, but then the monaro in the other lane went into the wall and rolled it 3 times ending up in frotn of Peter, he was able to hit the brakes in time but since the monaro lost it after the finish line, he was considered to have won.

they are not allowed to, as soon as they cross the line, it doesnt matter what happens, if he had've crossed the center line or hit the wall b4 the finish line then he would've lost.

Phil: do you know how the sport compact classes went? Pro RWD, Oz mod and Pro mod were there AFAIK. Can't find any info.?

yeh the front wheels come up.
sport compact went ok, GRUMP hit the wall tho, but scott karandrews 20B thumper powered falcon was awesome

here is a little more info on this car that I have found.
does anyone have more?
He is from alex hills
Last time i saw the car it had an 18rg (yamaha head etc) t04, mechanical injection (SS/CC) ran methanol, i think it now has a powerglide, has a 9 " (man it look huge under there Smile ) think it gone 9.80's now not sure on MPH. I missed it at the winters, last meeting i saw it run the bonnet opened at 130MPH..... not pretty.

but damm an 18rg runnning 9's n 10's.. i know theres one that wa made by some people and it was in a celica/supra i think 
ne way i think it ran 7's and 8's... only if my mind remebeers rite

on that particular run, that Monaro blew a tyre crossing the finish line and plowed it into the wall and rolled 3 times, kris nearly hit it too

THAT MONARO YES!
but it does feel good to pull up against holdens, wrx's, nissans,etc, and knowing that you can not only keep up but beat most of them... 
note: i said most of them, not all

yeah
that brings back memories of when i had a purple ke20 with a 5k with massive work to both bottom and top end
anyway my all time fave was lining up against a xu1 on the main strip of bondi beach and givign it a few revs while dropping the clutch which would lift the fronts
poor guy wouldnt race me after seeing me lift the front wheels with minimum effort
