in 12"you can't even use KE30 discs (218mm), you can only use KE10/20 discs (200mm).. of course you may adapt a different caliper and use the KE30 discs, but it's not really worth it.. just go 13"rims and get hubbies and whitewalls for them...
if you must stay 13", i'm afraid you are almost stuck with 200mm discs

dude if your ke20 has drums, get some ke20 discs, grab the whole lot, discs, hubs, calipers + backing plates, brake lines and master cylinder if it is larger than yours, and get the proportioning valve from the donor car as well. g/luck

zactly, most KE20 have disc...
do you have a transverse leaf suspension setup too? three bolts between the steering arm and the strut? (please check)
ke30-KE70 brakes are 218mm diameter, with later models being a little thicker (12.5 vs 10mm) you will need 13"rims to fit over them (or maybe special 12" )
easiest solution is to find KE20 discs.. you will just need the backing plate, caliper, brake line (better to get new one made up same as the old one), HUBS, and discs. i think the master cylinder is fine if it is unboosted... boosted brakes on these small cars can make it more hairy
fwiw, i've run KE10 master cylinder (unboosted) with KE15, KE20 and KE70 brakes without proportioning valve, and seems to be ok...
with the smaller 200mm discs, the rears could lock first, but not unless you pushed it...

nathos mate
u can just chuk some ke30 or 55 brakes on the front then run some datto 120y 12" wheels with ur hubbys as they have 114 pcd same as ke30s onwards.
the calipers may require a lil bit of grindin but nothing major at all.

i finally got around to starting this i got ke55 hubs/back plates discs and calipers, from what oldcorollas said in another thread u wont need to upgrade the master cylinder, the only thing im not real happy about and didnt really think through was the different stuff pattern on the front to the rear, ill have 4x110 on the rear and 4x114 on the front, what would i do about my spare :s or would i redrill it andhave both stud patterns? if theres no other way i think i may go try and hunt down some ke20 discs, they were much harder to find... ne thoughts?
cheers

use your KE20 hubs with the KE55 discs and you keep your stud pattern. i run KE70 discs on KE10 disc hubs.. which are identical to KE20 disc hubs..
