i have no idea why you decided to buy it john, its such a dumb thing to do a ke would have been better.
you could always debadge, remove the rubber thing down the sides, fine a cheap exhaust ( zorst place's bin) and mount a milo tin for an exhaust tip.

Because it was $150 drive away ....
but yer .. ill eat heaps of milo over the next few days and take the label off and weld that to the exhaust .. maybe drill a few small holes in the muffler ..
the paint job will be all black with a white racing rice stripe up the hood and over the back about 20CM thick
just waitinf for a break in the rain

Sick idea!
Can't wait to see you make a disaster of this Mazda. How did you find it so cheap, was it at an auction or something more ridiculous?
I like the idea of spinnarz and neons, but it also needs some Mazda seat belt pads, brightly coloured wipers, and a few go fast stickers. Hrm, lets see. HKS, Blitz, GReddy, Advan and Exedy...
Oh and see if you can twist your window squirters forwards so it looks like you can wash the bugs off your bonnet instead of the window.

ROFL !
i have a moto equip down the road from me at Floreat so i might cruise on down there after the paint job
as for bright coloured wipers .. i think supercheap has fluro pink ones ... u think that'd do with the black paint + racing stripe ?
also i might get those LED washer things .. that all the Mirage's have on their bonnets .. lol
this is gonna be a fun week/weeks/month

hahah, the milo tin idea won't work, the bottom of the tin kinda melts, I tried this on my Fooly Siiik Pulsar Vector. I also debagged the rear end with a mallet, re aranged the letters to say 'VTEC 81.0' Fooly Siiik 81 litres of VTEC power.
Don't forget to put a shopping list up the side, spray paint it on if you must, I did

This thing might not move with the extra weight you apply to it! The paint alone might be enough to bog it in its position!
Great idea though, I love this sort of thing!

dude, is this thing even registered???
and yeah, you shouldve got a ke, they're alot better
panda paint job, ralliart sticker (back window), trd sticker (front), a few Jetpilot or Thor stickers, no muffler, and fuly reclined seats (back of front seat MUST be touching front of back seat mmmkay)
looks like fun, make sure you take heaps of pics too...
and them stupid chrome spiner hubcap things on a set of black steelies would look ace.
the bonnet scoop would look good, aswell as some bonnet pins, for no apparant reason.
Eldar.O.
oh, i almost forgot, get those "bullet hole" stickers aswell, to complete the effect.

I love the narrow racing stripe, seems like you got a bit of overspray under the masking but it just adds to the whole halfassedness of the effort. Nice work.

hahaha tacky mods @ its greatest
U have to night shade the taillights and the parkers, and put gaffa tape eyelids on it. Do the one wiper trick. Rip off the back wiper. Hammer sum holes thru the exhaust so its louder, take the springs out at the back and chop the springs in half at the front and get sum super chrome paint for the wheels..... oh and for the interior rip the head rests off.
Thats if u dont care about getting defected though haha but it would look so fkn funny

You'd be proud of me coFF33. Last night I took an old Mazda 323 out for a thrashing and came up with this video. Its only short and a mate was filming on my digital still camera. I couldn't keep it going around because it kept jumping out of reverse!
http://home.iprimus.com.au/the_rainbirds/miscellan eous/reverse323.wmv
Its only a short clip at about 215kb but I'm sure you'll laugh!

I dont know what year it is but its got a plastic spoiler across the back window and a factory sunroof! No air, no power steer.
Half the time I'd drop the clutch she would just bog down and then jump out of reverse, I just slammed it back in and dropped the clutch again, I've got a few other clips but that one is the only clearish one. Thought about trying to hold it in reverse but without power steering I don't know that I was capable of doing it safely!
Going off! Smelt like burnt clutch and rubber after my efforts.
