My 4AGZE has a major prob.
Lately my power has been decreasing. Each day worse.
Symptoms:
Low idle
? Supercharger Making noise.
Went to check my supercharger SC12 dipstick and it was completely dry. No oil !!!
WHERE DID THE OIL GO ???
Im pretty sure its an enclosed unit with no oil return lines etc.
Anybody had this prob?
What do i do ????

Last time i checked the sc oil level was during my conversion. Ive been driving it for last 2-3 weeks.
Ran very well first 2 weeks.
Only since friday its been sluggish.
And decided to check the level today. Hence no oil.
Hopefully i havent done much damage. Thats the last thing i wanna do is to replace the sc12.
Anyways, i put in some mobil 1 for now till i buy some more syntrax. It ran better soon after. but still aint what it was.
Cheers,
Matt

From the sounds of it the charger could be shot.
How oily is your IC & intake pipes now? I would imagine the oil'd be leaking past the rotor seals & going into your motor.
If you've noticed the power drop off over a few days, it could be that the charger bearings are rooted & getting worse, until they prolly would have totally seized without oil I imagine.
This is all talk out my arse though, I can only speculate on the info you've given me.

Hmmm interesting.
Well im gonna keep a regular eye on the oil level now on.
Hopefully it hasnt done much damage with no oil as you said.
Im still peaking 8psi. Which is a good sign i guess. The performance has improved since i replaced it with oil. Idles normal now.
I dunno if i'll go to the trouble of dismantling it just yet. But seems to work okay at present. No more weird noises.
