Info on Fitting and EBC and FCD to a 2JZGTE Wed, 15 June 2005 07:12 Go to next message
Hey guys,

I am going to be fitting a Gizzmo FCD and Gizzmo EBC (as shown in the following links) to my Cressida with 2JZ-GTE

Is there anything I should be wary of, or is there any special considerations when fitting a Fuel Cut Defender or Electronic Boost Controller to a 2JZ-GTE ??

Thanks
Jason

**edit**
Forgot to mention..
I am running the Factory ECU, Turbos and Injectors etc, just with twin 2" dumps into a single 3" exhaust and big intercooler so it is hitting boost cut quite easily at around 5,000rpm as it is currently...

On my car, fitting the FCD involved snipping one wire and about 5 minutes of soldering. Couldn't be easier. As for the EBC, I've never installed one but if you follow the instructions I can't see it being much harder.
