I've been grounded.

Well it looks like I'm grounded for a while.
I've blown my BOV in half.
So since I now have a big hole in my inlet manifold, my old girl wont run properly. sounds like it's running on 3 cylinders.I'm about to send photos over to
The Castlemaine Rod Shop to see what they are going to do about it.(if anything).
I replaced the MAP,coil pack & C02 sensor trying to find the miss, then managed to get under it only to find this big hole in the inlet manifold where the BOV should be.NOT HAPPY

My el'cheapo BOSCH BOV that was fitted when the blower was fitted.
New one is on it's way.
I think after I'm up & running again I might save up for a different type, has to be a plumb back unit thou. One thats not going to sh1t it self to quick.

Ok. picked up my BOV from the post office yesterday afternoon. Fitting will be to-day when it warms up a bit so I can go and get under the old girl. This one will do the job until I get an alloy one.
Showing my bush mechanic back ground, I wired it like a champaign cork with some mild steel wire. Hopefully this will at-least keep all parts together if it blows out again before I get a good one.
