Quick question:

Is the smallport AE92 sump the same as a AE86 RWD? And the oil pickups in the same place?


The smallport one I have here has an external oil hole, thats the only difference I can see.

There is a variation in the sape of the sump between the mr2 16v and the silvertop 20v (the bottom of the block is a different shape). I'm pretty sure the early 16v sump fits on a smallport block fine.

Yeah, the smallport is the same overall shape as the bigport rwd. Some bigport RWDs are slightly weirder in different ways, but all will fit.
