Actually the most powerfull 18rg head would be the 88253. The 88210 just has better cams. The 88253 has bigger valves. What you want for more power. You put some nice cams or the 88210 cams in the 88253 head and presto. The best combo.

ive got an ultimate combo 18RG. problem is im in townsville North Qld, and i want to sell it as a fully rebuilt ready to run item.
The block is from a 230 headed motor, so it has the 9.7:1 pistons, and the crank has had the rear mainseal area metalsprayed and refinished (no more oil leaks!!). The dizzy is electronic to suit 21RC ignitor and coil, the head is an 88270(unleaded, biggest valves and ports), the cams are from 88230(same as 210), your choice of short or long manifold, carbs are from 230 head (the non-problematic ones) with two 600cfm ramflo washable filters. Engine will be sold re-ringed, new bearings, balanced pistons and rods(balanced crank at extra cost), cams will be timed to your specifications (torquier or revvier) and will be supplied with new ngk plugs and 8mm top gun leads. Sump and pickup is your choice of rear pickup (celica etc) or front pickup(corolla etc). engine will also be painted to your choice of colour.
Expressions of interest should be emailed to O_man_ra23@yahoo.com.au
Cheers, Owen
P.S the motor i just did up is running EFI with a cheap computer, and revvs to 8500RPM without a trouble. thats the one in my car
