Interesting Master Cylinder - maybe a MA61 upgrade alternative?

I was looking at my Uncle's 75 series Landcruiser 4WD ute today. It is equiped with 4 wheel discs/ 4 pot fronts/ 2 pot rears.
It has a very large master cylinder + reservoir. IT is alloy and seems to have the same bolt pattern to the booster as a ma70/Ma61.
My guess is it would be AT LEAST 1" bore, much the same as the MA70, it may be even bigger??
So maybe this is another alternative if people cant source 1/2 cuts of MA70's etc??
Also, if anyone needs to know how the MA70 ---> MA61 conversion is done, i have a full set of pics of what you need, and how to do it. I dont have webspace hence i havent posted a how-to-do thread.

ma61 ---> ma70 is the brake upgrade.
If landcruiser is bigger ----is another upgrade

what he means is it will make the brakes harder to push and wont slow the car down any quicker.
you can ass around all you like with master and slave cylinders, but braking performance comes down to pad and disc design.
i'm all for bigger master cylinders however, more direct brakes without going crazy and pissing off the brake booster.

He was talking about not getting rid of the booster all together! Stupid sloppy vacuum setup, introducing play, loss of feel geez if your a man with tree trunks for legs why not ditch it lol
As far as I'm aware a bigger master gives harder & shorter pedal travel, and a smaller master gives easier & longer pedal travel. It is a trade off. There really isn't anything to be gained in terms of performance (unless the cyl is under size for the application and isn't capable of flowing enough fluid in the first place...unlikely but possible). It depends on what you like
Its a trade off, there are other things that can be changed as well, such as the pedal ratio.
EDIT:
Meant to make a note that I think MX83's also have what appears to be a 1" master, another option I suspect if you want a 1" master.
Cheers

surely larger piston diameter = more fluid pushed out. Hence i see it as an uprade along with the other people who have thouht about/ done it.

Bigger cylinder will obviously be harder to push - but most cars have got brake pedals that are FAR too soft anyway. MX83 cylinder is 1" and will do the job nicely for any 4 bolt Toyota upgrade. Some 80 series cruisers have a 1", 2 bolt cylinder which is great for old corollas etc. If you don't want to ditch the booster and run separate cylinders (and get dirty looks from your engineer for doing so) then go stick a bigger cylinder on what you've got!
