well i have 45mm twin sidedrafts and i have seen them go for a lot - like $800 because they arent too common that big. 40mm twin sidedrafts are a lot more common and go for about $400. this would be in reasonable condition, most need a kit/rebuild and go for a lot cheaper, like $200 a pair.

don't bother, just get fuel injection and use the butterflies from your carbies for a quad throttle setup, it'l probly cost the same in the end, with better tunability and better power, as well as fuel economy.

yeah you would think they would go for peanuts really, but carbs are sought after and some die hard fans love them bloody tuning them so often arrrrgh! love the sound tho of my 45's hehe. you could get a set of solexes and manifold pretty cheap, like err $300 and rebuild them yourself. plus get them tuned for about $60 for a basic tune i suppose. some people have spent hundreds getting them tuned to perfection.

we tuned ours at home here and we neva had top do it a second time yet
i cant see how ppl always need to retune them
