This is the same car that has run 9.2 previously right? If so, what has changed since then? Looks like it is tubbed now but can't fully see. Don't suppose you know what class it will race in?

I find it funny that this thing runs a 9.2 and I have video of a stock looking white jza80 with no chute and slicks half the size running an 8.45. Meh

It ran a 9.2 in the previous set up.. With slicks on a standard chassis etc
My guess other than being tubbed, its using the motor/box combo from the trans am they wrote off
Hope its running whislt im up at Jamboree

Was someone at Gold Coast Autosalon? I saw the white gtr32 run a whopping 588awkw with no NOS . Also saw the subzero soarer doing its thing but didn't catch the number.

meh,
compared to what has been achieved in the US with jza80's on street tyres, 8.37 et, i dont find that thing so impressive, though it is a start in the right direction.

Is there any photos of inside the car? Would like to see if this is a half chassis car or whatever. If it is a regular chassis car I wouldn't expect it to go quicker than high 7's at best. That is competition for 13b tube frame cars but no chance against 20b cars.
So the transam is well and truly gone and never to be seen again?
Also, there were rumours of Nizpro making a tube frame car powered by the XR6T engine they had. That may be competitive to 20b cars.

i doubt they'd use the trans am engine, when it did the 9.9 or so, it had a STANDARD bottom end, pushing 900rwhp, then they put the new one in.
and the trans am was only crashed recently
that R32 from the show has pulled 1090rwhp on gas
