 No spark for the 20v

As the title says, there is no spark on my mates 20v, everything (or so we see it) is done right, but the coil/ignitor is not putting out any spark.........any pointers here???

check the earth on both units and then give it a try!i had this problem with my corolla, cause the ignitor was not earthed properly.
