I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now. I was thinking about approaching the board about it to see if we can make it an official event if there was enough interest. Plus i think it'd be a great idea, and it would show that the club is trying to promote safer driving.

Of course i can get everyone a good deal Very Happy

I even had he offer put forward to me to run a toymods racing school at wakefield park for a day, but i would need defineate numbers, im sorry ive been slack with the club lately to get things organised, but if theres enough interest i can get things organised,

There are a few options with what we can do,
We can either hire out the circuit for the day, or just do it on one of their open practice days, and then hire the instructors for the day which i think of the top of my head is about $300
but divide that by even 20 people it isnt a great deal of money.

If we could get 20 defineates, for $100 a head we could get the track to ourselves and instructors, (thats a cheap driving course)

But we need definates and deposites to even think of going ahead. And it to put forward to the board.

of course theres also their standard courses which we could possibly get a group discount on.

regards

Ben

Count me in

If we can organise a non-member price as well, I am sure I can get a couple of others.

I am 100% keen
would also be keen on a group advanced driving coarse

also another things me and lots of mates have wanted to do is some sort of skid pad with water on it, I think it would be great to have an environment to safely get a little sideways and learn to control it.

Sounds good. The idea has been thrown around for a while, but no one's put their hand up to organise it.

Would be a really, really good idea. And I'm sure I can get heaps of non-members to attend.

I wouldnt do an Ian Luff course even if my life depended on it,
i have seen and heard of many cars that he has written off during a course, and then said well tuff Confused He has got the wrong attitude to defensive driving, thats why A Current Affairs always go to him to do motoring safety stories, Need i Say more...

Let The Sledging begin Very Happy

Check out events section soon for toymods Racing and Advanced driving course. (im sure i can even get some drifting tuition in too)

Cheers

I can bring myself, and almost certainly 3 or 4 non-members... depending on a few things I should be finding out about in a week or 2
