Hey Josh,
I wouldn't mind popping down for a looksee. I won't be at the drags on the Wednesday though.

I would only be looking for a quick power run though so $95 seems a bit steep.

Will see how I go this Friday before I start predicting what condition my car will be in.

later
Chris

haha yeah everyone is saying the same thing
but its not just a power run its a 30 minute tune,

anyway so far everyone just wants to do power runs so the cost will be $50

ill update when things are sorted out, would be great to see your car on a dyno Smile

Just double checking... is this Mercury in Brisbane? I would be doing the same as Chris... I wouldn't be going to the drags but wouldn't mind going for a power run.

A tune would be nice, but I don't think they could do much with the standard ecu, unless they would be adjusting fuel pressure and the like?

Cheers,
Kirk

Sorry Chris... I should make myself clearer. I've had to replace my fuel pressure regulator as the standard item was a little dodgy and I would like to just make sure it is set right.

i'll list this in the TCCQ newsletter - but dont know what response you'll get. Magazine comes out next week so folks will have a weeks notice of the date.

fearless: would you Starlet club folks consider having a joint effort day at a dyno or a show-n-shine? We've still to organise one for this year...

It was tuned up to about 10psi. I am not sure if boost controller is connected correctly as it went to 18psi when I let off accelerator and I think it would have kept going. That was too fast to do on the street so the high boost tune is going to be done on the dyno. Got some decent fuel economy tune into it now though.

Have a look in reader's rides thread for more detail Smile

so your nicoles bf !!
sorry i didnt understand when u said they left my gf's hoses off. but now it makes sense Embarassed

i should check my hoses Sad

so some of the starlet club members are doubtfull of the kw that the dyno gave my car . but i thought it must have been pretty acurate cause both the stock starlets got 74 which is close enough to the 75 factory. anyone else who went and have had a dyno before did u get similar readings ?

Last dyno I got 164 rwkw... though that was with a different ecu. I had the factory unit in for the run, next one I'll put the Mines back in.

Cheers,
Kirk

Josh: Jason's car made 195rwkw on another dyno dynamics before. Made 194rwkw that day so I would say it is accurate.

Now when you race on wednesday get your mph and weight and you can do some HP calcs.
