Howdy, non-toyota I know but thought some may like to see a very nice 280zx.
It has just been painted and we've fitted a rb20det engine to it. Has a rb30det turbo on it I think and a custom forward facing plenum.
Soon will have some suspension upgrades and a ebc fitted.

Will post some pics of engine soon.

RB30DET never existed aparts from custom made ones it would either have to be from a RB30ET or RB25DET which is a common turbo upgrade for the RB20. NOte the RB30 was a SOHC hence no D in the name.

Loose the wheels.
They break the car.

On the contrary, I think the wheels look good.

No way, wrong style for the era.
Needs wider offset too.

What about on of those RB26DE even better but rare as rocking horse
I don't think those wheels would look good on anything. Thick spoked wheels should be limited to 5 spokes AFAIK, anything more looks terrible.

NOW i see the resemblance of how the 240's styled body merged and turned into my dad's z31.

Nice example - but sadly it's probably the ugliest of z-cars. The same combo in a 240 or 2-seater 260 would be schmick!
