Friend of mine wants to take out a c52 crown and pinion (cause they are bigger ratio) and put it into his gze e51 gearbox. His e51 has an LSD. He is running an n/a 4age. So hence he wants to keep the reliability of the stronger gze box but have a biger final ratio to push him up those hills.
Does anyone know if the c52 crown and pinion fit in the e51?
If so, any tips or tricks to it?

Not really familiar with FWD toyota stuff, hence the q's.
I don't know jack shit about FWD transmissions, but surely the strength of the E series box comes from it being physically larger, especially in the crown-wheel size i.e. like T-series vs F-series rear ends.
