oil cooler on 20v 4age

Hi,
I'm thinking of setting up an oil cooler on my 20v (i've already got the sump with the outlet to put on, and the mount under the filter for this)
I've heard rumors that using an oil cooler can effect the oil pressure, which could make the VVT system function improperly, since it works on oil pressure.
If anyone has put an oil cooler onto a 20v, has there been any oil pressure issues? has the vvt still worked ok?
cheers,
Adam.

I'm running one, it's lifted the oil pressure a little, maybe just from cooler temps hence higher density? My pressure was fairly low at idle without it though.
It won't cause any problems at all. I'd only worry about the vvt if your pressure got really low, but you've probably got bigger problems by then anyway and shouldn't be running it, let alone revving it.

Ok, cool, that sounds good if it can actually raise the oil pressure a little.
Your reply has put me at ease, thanks
