Hi all,
I would like to put an electric fuel pump in place of the old mechanical one, reason is the crankcase gets contaminated with fuel (I mean heaps, liters !!), and I guess this is due to the fuel pump.
I found a new 30 GPH @ 2-4 PSI fuel pump, would this do the trick, please ?
Also, I wonder if I would nead a blockoff-plate or just leave the old fuel pump in place and mount the thing directly on the old mechanical one, just as a pass-through ??
Thanks in advance for your answers !

definitely take old pump out and fit a cover plate.. otherwise it'll be hammering away and will eventually make noise and be nasty.. passing fuel thru it will also be not so good.. depending on pump design.
ideally, you will get a pump that is self regulating (or can't make any more pressure) to 2-3psi.. the volume doesn't matter so much... as long as it can pump maybe 50-60 litres/hr it will be heaps.
rip off the mech one, cover it up, place new pump near the fuel tank, and you are set .. remember to wire up pump so it turns off
