Coolingmist Water Injection Kit Fri, 24 June 2005 01:12 Go to next message
I have a water injection kit for sale for i don't need anymore, it was used for maybe a couple months.

Price $200 firm

The kit includes:
* Shurflo 100psi pump (these retail alone for almost $300 i believe)
* 12v Solenoid (retails for $US40)
* 4-15psi Boost sensor, i'll throw in a t-piece too (retails for $US20)
* Fuse holder with 15amp fuse
* Injector housing
* All barbs/connections needed to connect the hoses to equipment
* Some wire
* Water filter
* High pressure hose (a few metres i think)
* Hose for drinking side of the pump

The only thing you'll need to get yourself is the actual injector, these are pretty cheap (you can get them off ebay). Id give you mine but it's been fixed to my intercooler.

I had a problem with the hose splitting but this can be easily overcome by using different hose or using hose clamps or heating the hose up etc...
Other than that the system worked well.
I'm selling since a water injection kit isn't the right solution for me.

If you're willing to ship to Canberra, I'll take it.

Check your PM's.

It seems there's a fair bit of interest for it so maybe this should be an auction.

Anyone wanna bid more than $200? There's a few people who are keen at $200. I'm not gonna try to make heaps from this just a bit over $200 will do, lets say you can buy it now for $250.
Cheers everyone.

Shouldn't it be first in best dressed, why get greedy.
I think everyone would agree.

Well i didn't think i was being too greedy setting a max price. This is a pretty decent kit, no doubt worth more than $200.
I'm willing to ship anywhere in Australia at the buyers expense.
If no one is willing to pay more than $200 then that's fine.

I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone.
