in silvias they usually bolt to the strut tower where the strut tower brace usually bolts to...
seeing as your car is fwd id imagine you would have to figure out which way its twisting and then find a spot on the chassis to mount it to. alternatively you could shift a bit easier to try to make them last longer...
you can also buy eurethain mounts or as some people do fill the mounts with sikaflex to reduce the movement

yer i know i just looked at a photo and being fwd could be a bit tricky.. easier on shifting no way it loves it.. might have to try a bit of sikaflex not sure how well it will work though :S

I've heard of a few people welding some chain links across the the engine mount. So the mounts can only flex so far. Seems a bit dodgy though.

Has anyone had experience with solid engine mounts ? that would stop a bit of flex i'd say hehe could be rather brutal on your drive line tho.

yer ive seen chain links done before but i dont like the idea of chain links in there lol... solid engine mounts yer some people use them but my driveline wouldnt take that kind of punishment... i dont think theres alot of options except maybe try some sikaflex , or i dont know lol

the only problem with harder/filled engine mounts is you get more vibration through the car so im told
