throttle stop screw???

what's it for?
how can it be adjusted properly?
engine is a 4age 16v tvis redtop.
please explain clearer for i am a newbie.

isn't this to set the throttle position sensor? is that the one you're talking about? in which case you'd use a service manual and a feeler guage to set it accordingly

i'm pretty sure you set it up so its just touching when the throttle is totally off. i think it is to stop the butterfly jamming shut inside the TB. there is a separate idle circuit that bypasses the butterfly so its not for idle control

my not so good with efi engines mechanic just screwed with it thinking it's for idle. now i would undo the crap he has done.
how would you adjust this thing? turn it a little just to open the throttle a little bit? what about the in conjuction with the tps? set it back to specs?

adjust it so that it just touches then give it about another 1/4 turn just so the butterfly doesent stick....
then adjust tps accordingly to settings in tech section

My manual says you should have zero clearance when the valve is fully closed. As suggested earlier it may just be there to prevent the throttle sticking shut.
Should have little affect on idle speed until it is open too far for the ECU to adjust with the ISC valve.
