yeah thats the one. a fella called dave actually owns it. grant is his friend. yeah im pritty good friends with jamie (from jt racing) and my brother is his best mate . yeah good car but actually looking a a soarer at the moment in sydney. i'll c what happens.
just woundering if there are any others out there?

if i was you i would look for something with a 1jz in it.
like a jza70
ive been told 1ggte's are unreliable
and if its a m series (supra, soarer) well ive experienced the headgasket problem.

yeah ive been told something about the weak turbos. i think i read it in HPI mag.
anyway. im in sydney now looking at a few 1j soarers. and lovinthem. i was worried about the auto but after driving some yesturday and knowing first hand the potential of th 1j i think i will get one today.

yeah, HPI also said that the GZ20 soarer was "Uglier" than the MZ20 soarer

Even so, the difference is negligible...
I mean, there's minor differences, but nothing that would make you say that it is UGLY...

i did know of any minor differences. the only thing that worried me about the mz series was the 7m motor. the gear boxes and ugly interour

minor differences like the different front grille patters, different colour griffin on the front, slight different interior options, spoilers, on the later models there was quarter panel badges, more chrome on the rear lights, different paint options, etc etc
different steering wheel shape... trivial things.
