SW20 MR2 3SGE N/A into 162SX Celica

G'day guys,
Im in need of some advice. I Brought a 1986 162SX Celica last year for $1200, and at that sort of price there was bound to be something wrong with it. and there was. It went ok as a "get me from point A to point B car", drove it softly etc. Anyway i had the main bearing collapse and a whole lot of other shit. Basically the engine was rooted.
After saving a bit of cash i picked up a 3SGE N/A engine from a MR2 for $650. I beleive its around the 1993 model but the detail wasnt great. Its was an import engine from japan??? and has only done 60,000kms. Im not much of a mechanic and basically had only done small things (waterpumps, power steering systems on a commodore).
Over the last few days i have managed to get the old engine out, change the clutch, boot seals etc etc etc and got the engine back in. It fits with a few "minor" modifications. Ive hooked all the gearbox shit back up and reblead the clutch, all the driveline stuff is in. Basically its mechanically finished.
Im having a few problems working out where the hoses go (because of the difference in engine age there are extra/no hoses. I cannt work out where most of the lines should be running. Im a bit worried about things like fuel pressure, AFM etc. Ive adapted the old gearbox to fit (had the starter motor facing the inside of the engine, no out wards), i hoping that gearbox is strong enough, but because i only want it as a transport car i dont plan to drive it hard.
The other major problem im having has to do with the Electronics. I cannt find the right ECU or wiring loom. (The engine came with a cut loom from the firewall but doesn't have the wires to get to the fuses etc)
I still have the original loom and ecu, is it possible to adapt the older loom over? and can it use the old ecu, i know it will lower performance but i just want to get the car working and sell it to pay back debts.
My budget is rapidly running out and i need some help as to what to do.
If there is someone in the Melbourne area who can offer their services for half a day i could offer a small compensation, but as being a 18 and at tafe my budget is very limited.
Is there anyone out there who has the loom and ecu i need? or know where i can get one cheaply? Ive rung around all the Melbourne wreckers and my cheapest quote is $1250 and needless to say i ain't paying that much
Thanks for any help you guys can offer.
Cheers, Errol
EDIT - Just found confirming evidence that it is a GEN 3 3S-GE, not the gen 2 as i was first lead to believe
