mates been thru 5 thru warranty now
you get what you pay for
if your on a budget i might know someone with oen that works or suits restore cheap

as for the ones from bunnings, they're Talon branded and are 25cc petrol trimmers.... i was there actually weighing up whether i really wanted to tear apart a brand new machine..... then i decided id just use a second hand one....
