www.tirerack.com seems to do good reviews on performance tyres. They also have a good database of user experiences. I bought my set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's for my ZZT231 Celica based on this and I haven't gone wrong - best ever wet tyre. BAR NONE.

yar, i was looking at them.. it's funny reading about americans who complain about a (nearly) semi-slick dry performance tyre "not having any traction in the snow... even just 2inches"
the general comments seemed to be poor tyre life.. ahh well, could be worse to get great traction you have to give up something..

In a recent tyre test (235/45 x 17"), the S-03 came 4th or 5th overall, but won the dry cornering and slalom sections of the course. It was the May issue of Wheels.
I posted the data in the "MA61" thread in the General section

i just picked up a set for $440. 265/35/18 but a mate owns 6 bridgestone dealer ships.
he drives a m3 quite hard i might add and he swears by them, he has tested every thing he has on offer in his shops and says it a good thing.
i will be putting them on over the next few weeks, i have falken ziex on now and they are crap.

Yup Ziex are quite nasty, I'll never use them again.
Potenza GIII's are pretty good for the money. I'd assume the SO3's are even better again.

if i had the choice i would probably have chosen Falken Azenis, but it had to be bridgestone only... still as far as good and crap ones.. these at least seem to be good...

Don't know the Azenis price, but S-03's in 235/45x17 have a RRP of about $355 according to Wheels.

ahhh, thats more like it.
umm, i'm not too good with the sizes of tyres but for 15" x 7" wheels,
so would that be 205
i'm not too sure about the rest.. could anyone lighten the subject for me?? with rough prices on how much i would be paying for top of the line performance tyres??
