Suspension Guru Wanted For Knowledge! Sun, 26 June 2005 15:16 Go to next message
I have a set of RA40 celica front struts with KE30/55 Strut tops.

What springs would fit in these struts? Could i use lowered KE30/55 springs and they'll just go straight in there or would i use RA40 celica lowered springs or would i have to get a set of custom springs made up to suit those struts?

Any info would be great.

Cheers i advance to anyone that replies.

Mick

you have to use the KE springs, as the RA40 spring diameter is too big for the KE strut tops.

also, you'll have to weld tabs onto the spring seat at the bottom, so the spring sits in the center of the strut.

that's how i did my first ever brake upgrade to my 4agze powered ke30 i used to own.
