compression testing	Mon, 27 June 2005 01:04

id like to test the compression on my 2tgeu however i dont have a gear box for it, was wondering if any one new how i could get the starter motor in postion etc to turn it over?? or any other way of turning the motor over to test compression.. cheers Dom [Report message to a moderator]

Spanner on the crank pulley bolt. or just bolt a bell housing to the block, you don't need the whole gear box. [Report message to a moderator]

yeah id thought about the bell housing only i dont have one..... ill try bolting it on some how i guess, turning with socket was my last resort! cheers mate Dom [Report message to a moderator]
