wolf 3d v3.1 or piggyback? Mon, 27 June 2005 02:05 Go to next message
guys, i have been given the chance to purchase a Wolf3D version3.1 EMS new for my car, for around $600.

But, would it be better to get something like the greddy e-manage or the different equivalents of piggback computers that go for about $500-600 on ebay...

what would be the better option? I'm leaning towards the wolf3d, but thought i best seek your guys opinion, seeing that google only finds me wolfenstein results...

would the v3.1 wolf3d be alright for a stock (bar exhaust) 7mgte?

any help would be appreciated, thanks Smile

sorry to say. But I think $600 is a little steep for a v3.1.
The last v3.1 I sold with hand controller and loom was $350
v3.1 was made around 1995-97 ish.

you could use the same plug and pray system on my wolf Ryley - the 3sgte + 7mgte share the same pin out plugg - and they have a base map for it on the v4 i believe already ..

PM me if you want some details - might be able to help you out a bit
