10 thou is 0.25mm
you can work out the max change in compression ratio by using the size of the motor/cylinder etc...
at a total rough guess...
1GG = 6cyl 2L = 333ml/cyl
(very rough) combustion chamber volume = 42mls
thus CR = (333+42)/42 = 8.93:1
bore = ?? 80mm?
volume of change for 10 thou = Pi * 4^2 * 0.025 = 1.25mls
new CCV = 40.75mls
new CR = (333+40.75)/40.75 = 9.17:1
so a change of 0.24:1
anyhoo, thats my rough guesstimate on it for 1G:
10 thou skim = approx 0.25 CR change.

FYI its '10 thou' or '10 x 1/1000 of an inch', or 0.01"

Stu, bore is 75mm, stroke is 75mm.
And if you shave 0.25mm, just use a 0.25mm thicker gasket to bring it back to stock.
But if its only 0.25CR change, thats nothing, you'll like the extra torque.
