thats what i think to it looks like a gemini i saw down the road from me that attempted to tow a boat and it's rear axle collapse, that much rear camber just doesn't look right it looks wonky and they must go thru tyres like nothing else, and with the amount of stretch they run you'd be lucky if any tread was in contact with the road, more likely the sidewall

Where did the "cat cutter" or "small children plow" originate from?
oldcorollas: does that mag also feature plenty of "carbon monoxide eye sting" exhausts?

Its just more wheel piece/pieces welded on, add then put on a big arse lathe to clean em up. No machinist in the world would/could mill them up from scratch, well i wouldnt think so at least.
I believe there is a wheel repairer in sydney that can add/subtract width from wheels.
Wether they can do that much i highly doubt it.

A mate asked about getting it done and he was told its now illegal to widen a rim by cut-and-shut due to balancing issues. It might be different with a split rim.

its illegal to have 2 welds on a rim (ie cut rim in half, and weld a strip inbetween to widen it).
However you can get 2 sets of rims and cut them such that you have 2 large halves and 2 small halves, then weld the 2 large halves together to get a widened rim. Only works on some designs of rims and even then its frown upon and not recommended, esp in motorsports usage.
