Boat hire places in Sydney? Wed, 29 June 2005 11:30 Go to next message
Hey peeps

Well its that time of year again, the anual emptying out the wallet for the missus' birthday Surprised

I was thinking of something different this time round, in particular hiring a boat where WE, ourselves can steer in the harbour/inner rivers, catering for about 5-10 people. Maybe a 30" footer or the like

Can anyone inform me with good places?

awesome Daniel

useful links, that first one sounds nifty, although i was kinda leaning toward more of that style - where you can drive/navigate at free will for the day - most of the other ones are so bling and time restricted !!

if anyone has any personal experience with one that YOU have steered and controlled, then i'd like to get some info Wink

Des, it would be really worthwhile hiring a houseboat for a weekend. A bunch of mates and I did it between Christmas and NYE a couple of years ago and it was awesome. We hired from the place at Kangaroo Point near Brooklyn.

I went with these a while back and I would have to say that they really do their best to help and make it enjoyable. I'm going to do it again real soon.
Check the link ,they are at Wisemans ferry.
Just grab food, drink your favorite pillow, maybe a sleeping bag and some friends and it makes for one hell of a good time.
