Without having seen it, it does sound a little on the pricey side.
What does an average condition one go for these days?
I've got 25 grand worth of reciepts for my car (I added them up the other day), but I don't think it'd be worth a quarter of that (to anyone but me ).

paint job for one reason. and only having ~ 6000km's on the new engine another.
i've seen stock mk2 supras between $6000 and $7000 in the trading post (online as well).
so realy. when you only pay an extra $2000 for $6000 worst of stuff i reckon your getting a good price.

Spending lots of money on your car doesn't necessarily make it worth any more... about the only thing in your list that might increase its value a bit is the respray. Mk2's rarely go for more than $6k these days, but an absolute minter with full service history etc might get $7k. IMO $8500 is pushing it, especially when you can get Mk3's for that these days.

yeah. true. but not many mk3's have done 6000km's on their engine and have a 3 year unlimited kilometer warrenty.

Dude..i understand where your comming from with the $8500 price tag.You have spent a fair bit of money on your car but you must be realistic. It is not a bargain at $8500!It`s a buyers market out there now and MA61`s realy arent worth shit anymore!Your major downfall is that you spent 3K on rebuilding the 5ME!Your never going to get that money back!!!......why are you selling anyway?

maybe i better keep my mouth shut. hehehehe.
nah. the exa has been my dream car for years now. and as bad as it my sound, i shouldn't have bought the supra. i only bought it out of impulse thinking it was a good buy at the time.
i know after spending all this money on it i should keep it, but it's not what i want.

Arn't you halfway though a stero install? (or is that someone else?) Your pic links gave me a 404 error.
If your car came with a factory false-floor, I would be very interested in some pictures if it's not too much hassle (ie you have a digi cam). I didn't think Austalian Supras got the false floor, I thought only celica GTS/Supras in the US got them . Which is stupid, because the bulge with just a 195 tyre is bad enough, and with a 225/7" rim it's ridiculous
I am currently trying to make one to clear the tyre & hide the amp etc under.

yeah. i am 1/2 way through the sterio install. but i'm not including that in my sale. my sterio gear alone is worth about $4000.
i made the false floor to acomodate my amps, but you can't have a spare wheel in at the same time. but if i were to move on to another car i would just hand in the false floor i made because it would be useless to me and useful to the next person who bought it.
if the pictures didn't work on this page, try searching for them. i'm sure they are on this forum somewhere.
