Ok, could be a long shot, but given how fragile these boxes are, you never know?!!! I'm after a stuffed 6 speed - all I want to do is pull it to pieces and evaluate a few things - does anyone have one in that condition? I'm also after the shifter linkages and selector for one if someone has those too?

clg,the ring and pinion doesnt fit a 5 speed,i have already tried....hehehe.
why do you say they are weak boxes?

Not quite what I was thinking in regards as to why I want one to disassemble - I'm more interested in the orientation and setup of the gearing and it's application in other six speed gearboxes. As to their strength issues, ever broken one, then tried to get parts out of Japan to fix the bloody thing?!!! As a result, I really don't see why people chase these boxes so hard, aside from the wank factor of saying they have a six speed - hang on, thats why I want one too?!!!
