With the correct offset they will easily fit on the back and it will be close at the front. I run 16x7" wheels all round with 215 wide tyres on the back and 205's on the front. 215's fit on the back with some minor guard lipping and the 205's on the front required lipping and a slight pump of the guards to fit. But I do know of some KE20's in Canberra with 17's that didn't need to pump the front guards, no idea if they rub though?
My tyres don't rub at all, the full lock adjustment on the steering did ned some minor adjustment though.
