Any differences between the ones in a sprinter MR2 or a corolla?

I assume you're meaning the 4age engine? The MR2 one will be configured for AFM. The JDM sprinter ecu is rated at 97kw with MAP sensor. The AE82 is rated at 86kw also with MAP. These are all for bigports.
I'm not too sure on the smallports. I think there's a change in the MR2 4age between the AW11 and SW20.
