Yes unfortunately (not only for the planned cruise but also more importantly for the poor buggers living in the area) it is, so we'll have to keep an eye on the fires but hopefully they won't last that long and the roads will be reopened. I'll keep an eye on that situation and notify as early as possible if the cruise needs to be cancelled because of fires / road closures.

A cruise out past Wiseo's would be cool... been a while since I've gone out there.
You could also take the roads along the other side of the Hawkesbury river... i.e. go up singleton rd and then down through lower portlandish area etc. Better rallying down there...

So you're coming then??
I chose the Wiseman's Ferry Road out through Pitt Town etc coz it's all just been resurfaced in nice shiney new hotmix (was about 70% done a couple of months ago so should be finished now) which makes for a really fun trip
