when im drinking bourbon its usually cougar. but these days, when i do have a drinky winky, its probably gonna be vodka (brand not important, but usually smirnoff) mixed with something.

Any sort of harder bourbon goes down real well. Wild Turkey, Jack Daniel's Black Label, Maker's Mark, there's quiet a few that a similar like that. I'll tell you what though, after about a dozen bourbons, 5 or 6 shots of Tequila go down real well for some reason haha. Perfect end to the night.

On a drinking night, Johnny black.
I also don't mind Chivas and a handful of single malts.
I remember a great Chivas add once that just had a picture of a gorgeous chick and the words "She used to have braces, but then again, you used to drink Bourbon."
As an everyday drop, carlton draught or new on tap. Peroni, Stella or Pilsner Urquall from the bottle.

bourbon is foul stuff, as is gin. and rum.
For beer it's gotta be carlton, corona, stella or bees knees. Much more into wine, especially the reds during these colder months. a great kick in the balls shiraz will do me.

Jameson Gold irish whiskey. you can only get it duty free but you wont find anything smoother. for beers i go my home brew or if i'm out i get coronas or extra drys if i'm somewhere reasonably priced or calton draught on tap if somewhere expensive. and strongbow on tap kicks ass.

My sis's boyfriend is very fond of turkey infact he has a collection but had a taste and wasn't too fond of it, infact i am not really fond of the taste of alcohol that much.

You are an elitist bastard GT.
I had a very nice Bowen Estate Shiraz (2000) last night and a Mitchell's Peppertree (a bit young bit good value).
It's much easier to be a fine wine drinker when you aren't paying the bill!

well we definately aren't short of wine at my place, my parents went on a holiday to the barossa and bought like 15 cases and we already had a shitload, shame i don't really like the stuff cos my dad hasn't been buying beer lately so i can't get any for free.
Have a rather large port collection. My uncle once bought my grandfather a 1957 port for his birthday that cost like 500 bucks this was about ten years back, he drank it with the whole family there and then except my uncle wasn't there cos he mailed it to him from adelaide. Needless to say my uncle was not too happy.

Hey Lumpy: Nice signature!
I don't quite "get" wine . . . yet. I assume that once a few thousand more taste-buds die off I'll be down for a drop of red, but right now, in no particular order:
DB Super-Dry, Carlton Draught, Boags Draught, Steinlager, Becks, Haagen, Lowenbrau, Bavaria, Hollandia, Anything Boags or Cascade, James Squire (Various), ummm . . . the list goes on! Anything that ISN'T Melbourne Bitter, Tooheys, XXXX or Hahn Ice. Not a fan of big doses of VB either.
Spirits: Anything but gin really . . .

Nothing wrong with "Chateau Cellulose" as a daily. The Morris Pressings used to be an OK drop but I haven't bought a cask for a while.
I was having a dig re: elitist since wasn't that your signature at one stage? (and why I remember that useless fact I'm really not sure).
And for teh Skyline owner my sig is really a bit ironic since I used to own a Datto 1200, 1600 and 260z. Plus I have a large framed print in my office from when the Z32 300ZX was released (done by a industrial designer/graphic artist friend of a friend for Nissan dealers).

I had my first taste of Johnny Blue recently and wasn't that impressed.
There are much better drinks out there for the price.
The pick of the lot from Johnny would be Gold, IMHO.
I have a bottle of Hennessy Paradis that's aching to be opened... Can't wait!
GT, nice wines there, but I think you have your priorities mixed up. There's no way that wine > spirits.
