1jz ecu wiring: fuel pump pin

Hi,
I'm wondering which pin # and plug on the 4 row 1jz-gte ECU that tells the fuel pump modulator to start and stop?
Reason I'm asking is I'm doing a custom transplant and do not have the fuel pump modulator and want to drive the fuel pump via a relay.
Thanks.

Have a look at the schematics from 1jz-gte.us - all this info is in them.
On the 26 pin connector:
Pin 14 is fuel pump control
Pin 16 is fuel pump speed control (which I assume you don't want to use).
Make sure you use a circuit opening relay (or something else with two coils). One coil is driven (pulled to ground) by pin 14, the other is driven whenever the starter motor is operating.
What is the donor motor from and what is it going into?
Regards
Peter

If its a JZZ30 ECU you'll need the fuel pump controller for the ecu to control the fuel pump. Without the controller you'll have to hook up your own circuit.
If its a JZA70 ECU you can just use a relay.

your wasting yr time if u dont have the proper fuel pump ecu unit that a soarer has
i can sell u an rpm relay which works of engine rpm signal
i use these to trigger another fuel pump relay
i can either set it up and supply u all ready to just connect the wires or i can sell u just the unit
i bought these bulk just for 1j and 1uzs from soarers

So I would also have needed one for the rb25det setup since it utilized a fuel pump modulator in an r33?

so it's an on/off relay, but uses input signal from rpm? or variable voltage/speed?

no a nissan has a relay trig to turn on fuel pump relay and the r33 has a 2 speed modulator connected to the 2 earths on the fuel pump
dont think that nissans are same as toyotas
a soarer has a fuel pump ecu this whole unit controls fuel pump on and off and fuel pump speed
i have tried runnin a relay from the wire than sends a signal to this ecu but it didnt work
i just use an rpm activated relay for all toyotas with this prob
this relay just turns opn when it gets an rpm signal
it is a very sensitive one so the weak signal from the ig- from a toyota ignitor is enough to turn it on
to do it properly ends up havin 2 or 3 extra relays but atleast u have a fuel pump that turns off if u crash the bloody car
