Depends whats fucked.
Bearings at a minimum. Crank may need fixing if you have scored it.
Rings you may as well.
Bores may need honing, then bigger pistons may be required if bored out to much.
Plus all the obligatory seals and gaskets.

If you are leaving the pistons in there, just do big end bearings and mains bearings.

Thanks Cruz If the big end bearing is worn more on one side than the other does that mean the cranks oval ? if so can i get away with just replacing the centre cap bearings?

I do happen to have a 1g crank, it's gen 3, but I'm kinda attached to it, so it wouldn't go cheap.

Well, I have the whole engine, so if I'm selling the crank, the ancillaries could go with it. And I know they're in good nick.

don't know? was out of 87 gz20.
Personally I can't see there being any differences internally between gen 1,2 or 3.
