DATSUN 240C HUBS 5 STUD...Anyone trialed them?

I was at a wreckers today doing the never-ending quest for ms123 rear hubs and ms65 front hubs.
I found no crowns (SURPRISE!) but i came accross a 1972 Datsun 240C 6 Cylinder. I was almost fooled, because it actually looks very similar to the ms85 crown that i own! It had a double wishbone front suspension setup also. It also has 5-stud hub-type brakes. I was wondering if anyone had come accross this model in their trials for hubs? Ive never seen one of these before, so maybe they are rare?
Anyway 1972 being the year MS65 were available, i thought nissan and toyota may have shared some similar parts...We know they are the same with the z31 etc!
thanks guys
Blake

In a similar vein of discussion, does it HAVE to be an MS123 Crown? will MS112 not work?
For the trailing arms I mean.

ma61 = IRS
MS123 = irs
MS112 and before = SOLID axle
Answer your question
Sorry i forgot to mention the Datsun hubs im referring to are for the front.
Irrelevant for the rears.

Oh, well yeah, that certainly rules that out I only asked cause I always see MS112 Crowns for sale, I figured if they're more common.. but never mind.

Ed has been through this before.
The way he worked it out was "What cars used the same bearing sets as the MA61" and went from there.
The reason why the Z31T popped up later is that it uses a different grease seal.
The 5 Stud Starion's (not released here) also work. You can get the data from bearing books regardless of the bearing brand once you know the number.
Bribe your local bearing supplier for a book.

The bearing data is actually online.
Just type "bearing catalogue" into google and reap the profits. No need to bribe or ask favors from pimply faced teenagers who have no idea.

I assume you want to do a 5 stud conversion like me. Everyone told me that ms65 hubs are almost impossible to find, and I spent time trying to find something to suit like you, but only got more confused with conflicting info. I used the net to locate parts around Australia and tracked down 4 sets of ms65 hubs at very reasonable prices in a matter of minutes. Prices ranged from $30/pair (remove yourself), $115/pair (posted to me), to $215/pair.

They are there to be found, it just depends on how much effort you are prepared to put in.
